Fertility Open Events in the Covid-19 Environment
Due to the arrival of Covid 19 in the world we are unable to hold open events in the previous way of inviting you to meet the Doctor in person for a mini consultation and to see the building and clinic environment. Instead we are able to offer you a free phone call with an experienced team member to talk in detail about what services we offer and how they would apply to your particular situation. The team member will not be a clinical member of staff but can guide you on the next steps towards investigation and possible treatment. Please email email@example.com to arrange a time or – click on this link – to request a call back.
Open Events – Meetings in the Clinic Suspended Until a Safe Relaxation of Social Distancing Rules Allows us to Restart Them
Concept Fertility holds regular open mornings and open evenings for people who are unsure how to take the first steps in obtaining help to start their families.
Who can attend?
Anyone, it’s free and you don’t need to be referred by a doctor. You just have to book a place so that we can control the numbers and give us a contact ‘phone number or email so that we can update you if necessary. Some people come on their own and some bring a friend or partner.
What happens when you get here?
Our open days usually follow the same format. They start with a tour of the clinic followed by a short, private, discussion with a fertility doctor. The doctor will answer your questions and discuss your likely causes of infertility, the investigations possible, and the kinds of treatment available. This will not be a full consultation so do not bring your full history or loads of investigation reports with you. You will get an overview of the options available to you and the detailed planning will come later. We also have a fertility nurse and members of our support staff present at the open event and you are welcome to ask us questions about the process or the prices. If you like us and think we can help you, you can book a full consultation at a convenient time.
Who should attend?
One in six couples planning to start a family needs medical assistance from a fertility specialist. If you have been diagnosed with a problem or have been trying unsuccessfully for a long time, you will need to book a consultation to commence investigations / treatment and don’t really need to come to an open day. If you just don’t know where to start or simply want to meet us first, the open days are designed to help you.
